Revolution! Seriously! Let's do it, guys! We're a massive group of people! Calling wont help! Let's all march up to DC! They can't stop us if we're thousands, millions, and we stick together.

That will never happen though, as many are scared to death. It's sad really.

But we should do more than just calling =/ Lets like... starve in front of Congress or some shit... threaten to kill ourselves, wear shirts that say "A Message to the World: The US treats us like slaves, and each day we fear for our lives and dreams. Is this democracy?" just to ruin their reputation around the world a bit more, so maybe they'll shit their pants, and finally do a thing about us!
Revolution is not possible at all. You need the WHOLE country to take on the military and cops and such. Please guys, no more thoughts of revolution in America. You saw what needs to be done in French and American Revolution. It's a lot of work and takes a lot of time to overthrow something huge. Illegal immigrants will not prevail in their revolution. We only need compassionate lawmakers to help us.

And besides, are we just gonna turn out backs on America even if SOME of their lawmakers are unfair? 52 votes!!! Out of 60!!! If it was 1-99, then that's a different story. We have politicians who are willing to compromise. We got stuck at the retarded ones like Sessions and Vitter.

So what now? We've generated some pretty good ideas. Do we just move on or make an attempt at this? I figure we've got nothing to lose at this point. (I'm talking about attempting to make changes to the bill btw)

Well if our parents are here, they are probably getting old, and we can support them financially. Do they need to be legalized? It's not like they could work etc. in 5-10 years.

If our parents are not here, oh boy... but we/they can always visit? And we can send monies home etc.

Just trying to be reasonable if this chain migration thing is really a big issue.

I am gay so I am definitely not reproducing anything LOLZ.

mrs. mom, you make good points. But I don't believe that the realistic changes are that damaging. They'll require more of the people but we've worked hard until this point, and there's no reason we wouldn't be able to do this stuff. I agree that a master's degree is kinda ridiculous. note that no one is talking about a required GPA.

once we can work, people should be able to get an AA degree. it's not hard.

I am fighting for the DREAM ACT for all the KIDS who had NO choice. ... but your partents did.
NO LAW BREAKERS should be able to get visa's or greencards or citizenship.. and unfortunalty, most of the parents who brought you here are law breakers.
Since you were minors and did not make the decision to come here.. you are not law breakers.

Come here before 15, graduate, go to some college, don't break the law once... then you should be able to stay here legally. WE WANT YOUR TYPE!!

But those failouts, law breaking, losers (illegal or us citizens...) kick them out!
Shut up, idiot! Delete the last line!

my parents came here with legal intentions and for my disabled brother.

They were scammed by a lawyer who told them he would help them immigrate legally.
