A Big Thanks to Senator Durbin from NYSYLC

Here in NYC we had a meeting with the NYSYLC core leadership and we thought of ways to really thank Senator Durbin and to let him know how much his work really means to us...So we thought we send him flowers, a picture of our group, a T shirt that says "NY Dreamers "heart" Durbin and personal letters.

Our US Senator Schumer has not been as active as Durbin despite the fact that local nyc council, the presidents of CUNY and NYU, PSC CUNY (professors union) and others have urged him to be more vocal about his support.

Make sure to add gifts for his staff like gift cards. They probably received abuse from the antis as well.

Make sure its under $100.. If they feel the items are worth more then $100 more they could thrown them away, due to the Ethics bills that was passed S.1..We were already lectured on that when flowers were sent
