i know that none of us here want's to harm America in any way because afterall, we believe ourselves american
such irony that we want to protect america and its reputation
but its also ironic and wrong that America would spend so much much educating us and than suddenly abandon us as we reach adulthood.
i think we should use whatever method to let america know that it is stupid in their account and devastating in our account
of course we should also point out and show them that we are true americans in our heart

Ok lets get away from law suit. It freaks you out. Petitioning for status. Which you do by filing a brief. Perfectly respected and legal.

I agree 100% with TIKVA!! I've been thinking about this too. What crimes have we committed? NONE! Our parents might have, but we sure as hell didn't!! We've been so beaten up and tossed around that we started getting into this mindset that we don't deserve rights. We started talking about making the DREAM ACT more restrictive. (Taking out citizenship???) That's just not right. The opposition views us as criminals and sub-human. Let's not agree with them by denying ourselves simple human rights. What we've been through all our lives is definitely a civil rights violation. REASON? We didn't make the decision to come here. No child should have to pay for their parents wrongdoing. Also, in the US, there's something called statute of limitations. Some of us have been here for a loooooong time. Shouldn't we also have a statue of limitations?

Interesting concept about statue of limitations. But please remember you did not break any laws so this point is not valid for your situation. You know this is so much like the African American struggle. To this day there is still a problem with African Americans calling each other the N word. You must stop using the I word.

Will some here might see this is negative thinking, I think negative scenarios should be brought up to counteract them later on.
Or atleast not be taken off guard.....

I can already see how the opposition will reply....

"If a child's parents rob a bank and stash the money, should the children reap the benefits of their parents' criminal act......blah blah..blah."

That analogy is not very sound. For one thing, an immigration offense is not adjudicated under criminal law.
