I have three pages of moving violations. You're fine as long as you don't ask for political asylum or work in construction sites.

I got caught twice, since I used to take the max quite frequent before I got my car. The guys were pretty nice and let me go with a warning since they were like 1 year apart. Ironically I always buy tickets.

If you don't come to court and it's not a serious crime they'll just make a judgement against you and send you a bill. At least that's how it works here.
