Has anyone flown lately? that arrest at airport sounds odd - Page 3

Can I fly with an unexpired DL but with red temporary visitor status text on it with the date that's already expired?

for me it would take about a year because they have to update my "documento nacional de identidad" and then I can update my almost 20 yr old passport! i tried to see if i can get anything in the mean time but they told me no, the lady was super helpful but there was nothing she can do ;(
I was even going to see if sending my sister with info to my country would speed it up but I guess it's not an option

I traveld to Utah last december then florida in Feb and again in july. and all ive use is my college ID
I will be flying to Utah this early December. I will keep u all posted on how that goes. ^^

How have you been flying on your college ID? Don't they ask you anything?

No ive never been asked anything. before I started flying Last year i called the Airports about using College ID, and told them i didnt have a DL. They told me that not every1 has a DL and that a College ID is a State Issue ID since u must have one for college.. so ive always use that and nothing else. never had a problem.

Ive had friends who can fly out of their state with college IDs but to fly back they need to show DLs, Ive also had people who get asked for only DLs. So i think it really depends on luck >_>

it does.. at the airport, my sis got by with a school id with some people while i had to show the my passport.

O really? ive never been asked for any other kind of ID.
