The alitards are flooding those voicemails with negative phone calls. If anybody cares about Utah's in-state tuition, then they should make pro-instate tuition calls...

Utah's governor is a really good guy, he's not behind the plan to take it away.
I hope it doesn't pass and luckily it has an uphill battle but who knows these days. By the way, I might go to Utah next winter for vacation. I heard it's beautiful and want to spend some of my money in a state I actually like.

On another note.
I have to say before Mitt Romney or Bay Buchanan, I had never heard of or met a Mormon I didn't like. They, like us, are totally misunderstood.

Indeed. I think I read something about the leaders of the Mormon church saying much the same thing the Catholics are.

That's where they're really misunderstood. The one Mormon I know is married to a black/lantino woman. I think they recently changed that and it's unfair of us to assume just because the church thinks that way they all think that way. A lot of my friends are catholic and I really like them because they know to take everything the church says with a grain of salt. The people I know who are Mormons are like that too. Blind faith in authority breeds ignorance and if most Mormons followed everything the church taught and never questioned it they would still be polygamists in the Mexico like Romney's family. Last I heard Brighman Young was not very kind to LDS DREAMers who wanted to attend school there. Like the catholic church it's not perfect by any means but you have to admit both religions have produced some pretty compassionate people (and some assholes of course).

I just don't like the idea that because you don't believe in Jesus specifically, you'll burn in hell. My family is Sikh, and I doubt my grandma is going to hell. hahha

Oh, I agree. In fact, it's more than the mormon church that's racist, but the religion itself. They believe that black skin was a curse placed by god on Cain, and let's not even get into the American Indians. All the same, I'd just accept the help from wherever we can get it but keep a close eye.
