...so u drove without a license, so no insurance, plus overspeeding?
Your father is an idiot for buying you car, hence helping you to commit a crime.

You deserve it.

lol, don't listen to him. Everyone breaks the law somehow, although you should atleast carry insurance. The way I've always managed to talk myself out of driving w/ an out of state license (which the CA dmv has suspended for various reasons), is that cops understand common sense and these laws make absolutely no sense. The way I see it is I'm going to continue disobeying unjust laws. If you choose to do the same, you drive at your own risk, so no one else has any right to judge you on that matter. Especially given the injustice in which we live.

The judge cannot ask you why you do not have a DL.

See below

Amendment V

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

---

Tell him you want to " plea the 5th" . You have the right to remain silent.

Don't be a fool and play around with the judge as he can really screw you over if s/he feels like it. OP take the advice of everyone before the above poster or even better than that would be to see an actual attorney.

Good Luck, oh and let us know how it goes!

With all due respect the judge cannot do anything since it is a Constitutional right ! Trust me its better than saying " I'm Illegal thats why." Just say you do not want to speak.

Serves you right for taking chances! The last thing I'd want to do is attract attention from law enforcement!

Just ignore everyone that is bashing you for driving without a license. Geez, all you guys seem to forget that not everyone has someone to give them a rider here and there. Some Dreamies have no one to count on but themselves.

Goodluck and let us know how it goes?

lol, some people here are a little too judgemental. If you don't drive and you're pissed off about it then that's your choice. What makes it sad is that some of this bashing is coming from people who should completely understand the corner in which we've been driven. Btw, how old are you Cheerleader?

Yeah dont listen to anyone thats discouraging you or telling you deserve it!
Go to court, tell the truth, and the really dont ask many questions. The judge will ask you if you have anything else before he gives you the sentence and that is it. NEXXXT
