my best advice to you is to apply to as many schools as possible and to try to get fee waivers for them....

and dont be afraid to apply to a school just because you think your grades or lsat are not good enough...because you will be surprised...i was.

also take a prep course for the lsat...kaplan offers financial assistance.

as for going to law school....maybe we will end up going together...lol...im thinking of deferring...

Yeah, I have been deferring law school for 4 years now, haha...I went and got my MA, and while I don't regret it, I got more confused because I am sure I want a doctoral degree too. So then, I kept going back and forth, things got hectic and distracting at home, so I didn't apply anywhere.

I will take the Kaplan course this year, considering I don't test too well. Tend to get bored and answer without reading, lol.

Whatever you do, 1L is supposed to be the toughest, and then things get easier. What type of law?

Was just wondering which Law school and if having a JD degree and admitted to a bar boost your chances to get an E1 or E2 visa.

If you're undocumented, there's no way you'll be admitted to the Bar. I just took a look at the Illinois Bar registration form(s) a few weeks ago, and that damn thing so is comprehensive and invasive! They want to know about every aspect of your life (which is appropriate given the field). 1Ls are encouraged to register early to save money, but for obvious reasons, I haven't registered yet.

Ok, forget about the BAR, what about a JD, does that get you anywhere?
