I would be all for you moving because although we are undocumented it should not control every aspect of your life. We have to try to be normal and the increase in rent doesn't seem to be that much. My only concern is you said your mom is in a wheelchair, how will she get up there? Don't make her feel helpless or bad. Move but find a place in the first floor. Best of luck. Let us know what you decide.

Move. Money isn't everything, your quality of life is. From what it sounds like you're simply wasting away living at your current place. If you can still afford to help your family i say go for it, there's no reason to continue suffering. If you can't feel alive then what's the point of living? Though i suppose i should take my own advice on that...

I say move as long as finanicially you'll be stable. For me, life isn't worth living if you don't have fun or be happy. Plus everyone needs a change in scenery once in a while. does the mind good.

I agree with everyone that said move out. $100 more a month isn't going to break the bank and you'll be with people your own age. And closer to work, if it makes your quality of life a bit better then definitely go for it.
