Place of Entry into the US.
I entered from Nuevo Laredo, TX. Is that what I should put? In spanish, right?

Um.. did you jump border or entered legally? If so, what would be the station name of the border crossing?

<insert station>, Nuevo Laredo, TX

I lived from 08-11 in a dorm with no address. All I put in the street number box is Ex Houston St. Walton Dorm, would that be a problem?

That's strange, I assume you didn't receive any type of billing or statements since there's no address?

Also, during summers I lived at my home. Should I add that in there?

If you consistently lived there every summer, I would just use that as your address from 08-11, considering it still is home

Since I'm pretty much doing this myself, I should leave all the Part 5 and 6 bblank, right?
Correct, leave those blank.

I put Tourist.
You should put Tourist/ Visitor on Q. 14 but Unlawful Status on Q.15

Confirm or deny?
They want your personal assets, I think. This reminds me of computing for your net worth.. some people say include it, others don't. Cars are assets by the definition that it's something you own and it can be sold for money. If it's under your name, I'd say include it (current value - loan, so if your car is 8k current value and you have a 2k loan on it, write down 6k for asset). You can also always explain under part 3 additional information on how you calculated your assets. I plan on writing "Assets: estimated $2k cash in bank, 4k current value on car - 1k loan" or something.

Also, thanks! I was confused on the income part because I wasn't sure if USCIS goes by IRS/GAAP/Accounting/etc. Allowance from parents is a kind of "gift" but the tax liability for gifts falls on the one giving and not the recipient. But it's still technically money you get! :P

Unless you are working specifically with ICE, and the majority of applicants aren't, do NOT put anything BY ICE.

Unlawful Status. Period.

This is indeed chaotic.

Guys I know a few people here have quite a bit of money put away in savings, investments and such, but those are all assets. I think for an EAD, USCIS is going to be more concerned with your income than with your assets.

1-765 WS QUESTION

I have no income as I'm still in high school and depend on my parents. Do I write their income instead? Should I keep the value of my assets blank?
