Albert Einstein had you freaks all figured out didn't he? You are all insane, thinking that the same stupid attitude of being entitled will get you what you want. Guess what!! It hasn't for the passed decade!!! It is that stupid attitude that enrages anyone who wants to help us. If I were a Senator I would send you to hell fast. I'm in your same boat and I feel like telling you to screw off. You remind me of a bum that I handed a sandwich to and then had the audacity to tell me, "What?!! No mustard?!"

Call me a troll you entitled little pricks. Keep "DREAMING", I'll start "ACHIEVING". I'm out.

bahahahaha...you're funny...and very ignorant and naive.... especially how you express yourself... you're as good as those trailer trash, uneducated people that vote republican because that's "the way to go" ... now with your analogy of the sandwich... the achive act would be the same as me giving an homeless person the crums i left while eating my sandwich... and we DO DESERVE a pathway to citizenship and a green card...we've followed all rules, payed our taxes, we're active members of this society

Some people on here have correctly and objectively stated that our parents made decisions for us that have consequences. If people moved illegally (or over-stayed their legal welcome) into to a country in which I was a native, and then their children EXPECTED or felt that they DESERVED to be given permanent status, then I too would stay no.

As a Dreamer in school, who hasn't been able to drive, work, or travel internationally (as I would like to), I am very content with what the Achieve Act would allow us to do. THOUGH, the age limit shouldn't be below 15. And I would like to see the age maximum put back to 35.

Surely most of you can agree to that compromise.

But again, it requires you to view the ability to drive, travel, and work as more important that green/immediate path to citizenship.

P.S.

You're able to pursue citizenship like every other immigrant in this Achieve Act.

This reminds me of the movie 'Lincoln' (which is an excellent movie, BTW). A black soldier complained to Lincoln of being paid less than white soldiers. All the soldier wanted was equal pay, then after several years perhaps the chance to be an officer, and after several more years maybe a Colonel. Remember, before the 14th Amendment they were not even citizens despite shedding blood like any other soldiers. The ability to vote, or even citizenship, was not in their vocabulary. They were raised as slaves, subhumans, to the point that they could not even fathom being equal with the rest of America.

I think those of you who supports the Achieve Act are still stuck with your old world mentality. This is USA, a country of immigrants. If you think USA should treat immigrants like your country does, then perhaps you should have stayed in your old country, because I sure as hell moved to USA, not to your old stinking country. I will NOT let you turn USA into your old country, USA is great precisely because it doesn't work like your old country.

Speaking of 'deserve', criminals have a lot of rights here in USA. They have the right to remain silent, the right to a reasonable bond, the right not to be tortured, the right to a free attorney if they can't afford it, the right to a speedy trial, the right to a trial by people of their peer, and so on and so forth. Do you think criminals DESERVE this? No, but it's not about coddling criminals, all these rights are about creating a just and humane society.

If a "Dreamer" isn't willing to go to school, is he/she really a dreamer? So the only difference it makes for me is that it actually grants me a visa instead of illegal status. It gives me a chance to permanent residency over many years, but a chance nonetheless. This is a whole lot better than anything we have now. It's simple, if someone doesn't like it, DON'T APPLY!
in 10 window, they are making a bet with us, checking in every 6 month? we are not criminals or salves of nobody!! in 10 years you telling me you wont be getting in trouble for sure with the law, cause they will be just waiting for us to fuck up and deport us with some stupid misdemeanors or something? and do you wanna keep living in fear for another 10 years??? hell fucking NO this bill is shit that what it is!! SHIT!!

All that even if they served in the military and have their limbs blown off.

I am against Achieve Act not because I don't personally benefit from it, I don't need this turd to get my green card. I am against Achieve Act because it is inherently unfair and it creates modern day servitude through a legal 2nd class, the so called 'non-immigrant permanent resident'. This is NOT the America I believe in.

No taxation without representation. Does that sentence sound familiar? People who has no right to vote has no obligation to pay taxes.
you seem to get it!
