I don't think Trump could have been any clearer than this. He really pointed out his preference towards the end of the press conference. Even the DHS sec says they need and support the wall...so now it's up to the Democrats to agree to it.

Not every Dem appears to be on board with brd sec wall since multiple people during the meeting asked if clean DA can be passed or that brd sec is not needed...smh

^ this is essentially a summary of the meeting i saw, which i think if the Dems don't agree, then they are idiots! Boys and girls, this is it, we need to fucking apply pressure, it seems like a perfect deal!

Now that Trump has made his priority clear: Namely, he'll sign anything. It really comes down to Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell to see if they want to take the fall for DACA/Border security agreement.

The truth of the matter is, DREAM Act + $2 b. in border security will get you the majority votes in the House, and pretty close to 60 votes in the Senate. Will see where things go from here.

EDIT: Having said that, I don't really get the praise for Trump, etc. on this meeting. Things are still very unclear (GOP members and aides are frustrated because of Trump's ambiguity), and we still see him trying to appease everyone and end up satisfy virtually no one.

This is incredibly rational of him. Wow.
