Question (to anyone), did your biometrics notices have your 821D Receipt number on it, or the EAD receipt number on it? I had a problem with mine being lost in the mail, and had to do a walk in. I noticed when looking today that it has the 821D receipt number on it instead of the EAD one.

Just looking over my stuff to see if anything was screwed up since I haven't been renewed yet.

I called the service center and they made a service request... took them a month to answer it though so try to make it as urgent as you can.. tell them you need an answer NOW not a month from now.. see if you can get to the second tier reps, although they're just as incompetent. Good luck.

My (second) appt letter had both. All 3 copies of it.

for my renewal it contained both receipt numbers!!!!

Hello everyone, I have not been around here is a long time.

For people who's first permit expires around Oct 26th and sent renewal applications with decent time ,which is my case, please be ready. I got my receipt notification around July 2nd 2014 and just got approved for another 2 years.

Also, I live in Chicago so my application got processed at SRC Texas Service Center

EAD: Expires Oct. 26, 2014
821D updated to approved 09/29/14 renewal
EAD Document in production 09/29/14 renewal

People in my similar situation please hang on! I know that there were rumors about SRC being a little bit behind. I hope they are catching up.

I want to add that I did have a typo on my application which had me nervous. To be specific I filled out the school section which did not need to be filled out. After I realized it I freaked out!


I did fill out the I765 worksheet. I have an income gross income of 67K from my only job. I worried a little bit after I realized I wrote that, since technically for the I765 to be approved, you need to show necessity, which I truly have as well. Thankfully it seems these people get it and realize that we need to make money as well.

My case looks something like yours. I also have Nebraska Service Center and so far I'm still on Initial Review and getting very worried.

DACA Approved: 11/07/12
DACA Renewal Received: 7/10/14
Biometrics Appt: 8/1/2014

Can someone that got their EAD on the mail tell me how long did it take since you received the notification that the EAD was shipped for your card to arrive?
They gave me a tracking number through USPS...my letter departed the Coppell TX Sort Facility on Sunday morning...Coppell TX is like 15 minutes away from me and it's been two days ever since the tracking page says "Departed from Sort Facility COPPELL TX"...damn USPS...making me lose more work days...

For me it took two days between shipping and delivery. I live in Houston, TX and I got it rather fast. They send it priority mail which takes 2-3 days. I wouldn't panic just yet but do keep an eye on the mailbox and if you're feeling paranoid go to the post office and check there.

Got approved today. I was set to expire 10/31... so about 110 days to get approved.

APPROVED!

I can't believe it. I couldn't even see my case on file and was doing my 10340th random check expecting to see the same 'CASE CANNOT BE FOUND' but nope...
