its been 2 weeks and 2 days after i applied for my ss card? should i be worried i havent gotten it?? what should i do?

Did you get a receipt?

Check the address and make sure it's correct. If it's not call them at the number on that sheet. And even if it is you can call them to ask what is up. I think they told me it could take up to 60 days but I'm not sure. I suggest you just call.

So how does that explain other people getting approved from the same state as me that applied after me or at the same time as me at the Nebraska Service Center?

They just clear the system and clear whatever checklist they have faster. Do you think there is anything you missed on your evidence or anything they might want to look at more carefully?

How about you stop with sarcastic remarks and actually discuss something. Who said I'm complaining? I'm simply responding to what you said. It's just a general statement that goes against what you said. Which is exactly the reason why I asked him, how can they be so backlogged on this when people after me, heck, my friends even who applied at the same time as me and have exact similar timelines, got approved? I get what you're saying though and I do know that, but that's not the case in point.

I'm pretty sure I included everything that I had to and my app was pretty well put together and to the point with sufficient evidence in my opinion. I do realize that I'm not the only one in this situation though, so that is why I am just speculating as to what the reasons could be that many applicants notice approvals of their friends and people they know who had applied after them and all that. It just doesnt make sense when they say they are backlogged, because if they were, then those people who are getting approved, should have been waiting longer than those who applied first. If they say they are working on a first come first serve basis...
