would the Ombudsman tell you that kind of info?

Good question but no clue. I filed one for both the 821 and I765. I got a return reply saying it was under review with an officer and that no further action could be taken at the time.

oh so it did get assigned to an officer then. the offices is just being lazy.

Lin number before mines was approved already :/.... today. So some daca peep got some good news today.

It was a service request on my EAD, since they're supposed to process them within 90 days. They essentially said that the EAD can't be approved till the I-821D is, and gave me the extra info that my I-821D hasn't even been assigned to anyone yet.

Hey guys, I wanted to add my timeline:

Original EAD was set to expire on 10/28/14 Renewal Application delivered via Priority Mail on 6/13/14 Email and Text Notifications received on 6/18/14 Biometrics scheduled for and done on 7/21/14 I checked my case status on 9/29/14 and saw that my I-821D had been approved and that my EAD was in production. On 10/2/14, EAD card was listed as mailed "directly to the address on file." On 10/3/14, EAD card was received via Priority Mail and I-821D was received via regular mail. ***Original application in 2012 was processed @ Vermont; Renewal application in 2014 was processed at Nebraska.*** **I did not receive any text and/or email regarding my approval, I just kept checking my case status online**

For everyone that is still waiting, please stay hopeful, your renewal will happen.

Well my EAD updated to "ordered production of your new card." No update on DACA but it seems to always go EAD first then DACA approval.

1 week after expiration... Better late than never I guess. Time to find another job.
