I received the acceptance notification on Tuesday 1/23 but my documents posted on ELIS are still showing as error 500. Is this normal?

I think so, I received the mail notice of acceptance, but they are not online at all. I think it’s not some error that’s occurring.

It's looking like we are going to be at the forefront of the process. I'm planning on doing a walk-in on Tuesday, the difference is my expiration date is 09/18/18. I'm a data guy and this makes for good data actually, your expiration date is well within the 150-day mark, while mine in a little over 210. I wonder how approvals are going to hash out. Will it be first in-first out, or will they prioritize based on expiration date? I was going to wait, but my schedule date is a 02/06/18. It's not like it's going to move me that much closer to the 150-day mark.

Also, the vibe I'm getting from the most recent posts on this thread is the decision to either delay biometrics (to use up more of their current renewal, but risk cut-off) or applying ASAP (but losing days from their current renewal). Anyone else planning to do a walk-in or planning on delaying their biometrics?

Tbh, I'm trying to make it to the 2020 elections lol. That's the current goal.

When I initially applied, I needed several documents from Korea (my Korean ID#, birth certificate equivalent, etc.). My uncle sent it to me, but it was sent through USPS. They shipped the goddamn thing to Reidsville, Georgia when my address was in Tempe, Arizona, and they told me there's nothing they could do. Luckily, my uncle was able to get the local gov't to produce another sets of documents, and he used DHL that time.

Never even sent a post card through USPS since. :/ Somewhere in Georgia, a random person has enough original document to completely steal my identity...

Thanks, that's what I did earlier. I just wonder if it has anything to do with me mailing it to the actual address and not the PO Box. The filing address website says FedEx, UPS, and DHL should be mailed to a different address than USPS.

I'm going to leave mine as is. The longest time for an approval for me was 100 days, and hopefully 180 days will be enough. At worst, I'm probably losing 2 months.
(It seems like at least for me, they approve mine about a month prior to expiration)

Chicago (IOE) here. Looks like they scheduled my biometrics appointment today. I expire on 9/31.

I did mine walked in Friday. the way I see it, 1, I don’t really trust the this administration to do the right thing, 2, I read enough stories where ppl waited over 6 months to do it. I expire August. It’s true at worst I will lose a few months, but it’s better than the uncertainty of what’s next. Plus, I do feel like something will happen legistively, so as long as DACA gives us enough time to apply for that, we will be good. So if they pass something in March, 6-8 month will take us to the end of the year. So I dont wanna risk the lapse.

I never had an issue with USPS with my other DACA applications, but I probably won't be using them again for important documents.

I doubt it because how would USPS know you didn't sent it to correct address? Also I saw on the USCIS website even if you send it to the completely wrong address (say the address for H1B visas), then USCIS forwards it internally to the correct one.
