Planning a Trip to WA for Driver's license - Page 11

Ok so I know this has probably been asked before but anyway. lets say I obtain my dl from WA, I currently live in Alabama and i will be living ther for a while since im about to go to college, what do i do next? I mean of course go back to Alabama but if i were to get pulled over will they accept it or will they give me a ticket for not having a valid drivers license from the state. I'm just wondering because i heard that if u plan to live in a state with a different drivers license you have 30 days to change it to the state you will be living in.

my bf is a USC and is going to school in Florida but his from Texas. He's been pulled over for random check ups because he's got a Texas tag and Texas license. He always makes up something because he doesn't want to switch to a Florida's id or tag because it's a lot more expensive. Do the same, just make up something to get you by.
