Technically you can still be considered grandfathered in because you're already in the process. It would have been a different story if you're application was barely sent.

So how does due process work? We should probably have a sticky for that now.

I heard cases won't be finalized until the early 2020s. That's how backlogged they are.

I hope you're right. I'm just in shock right now. I honestly don't know what to do. Like, I know I should be sad but all I can feel right now is emptiness.

only a miracle can save us at this point:

- Trump surprises us with a grandfather clause that whos already in the program gets to continue (no more new applications)
- Trump lets it continue but wont defend it, while CA AG Barrera can defend us in court.
- Congress passes a RAC/DREAM/Bridge Act with a veto-proof majority 66%-68%

im a peace at this point with whatever happens. love you all, never stop dreaming.

great. does that mean we have to be in jail until 2020 if we were to get arrested?

That's the best case scenario, I just can't get my head wrapped around the idea of grandfathering when Trump 'ends' DACA, how does it work, do we get to renew indefinitely?

Not if they bail you out. I think, I'm not an immigration lawyer.
