It feels like the end of the road on #DACA could be the same question as 06 & 13: will a R House speaker allow the chamber to pass bipartisan #immigration legislation that has majority support even though a majority of House Republicans oppose it?

JUST IN: Trump and Schumer’s Friday chat and work towards a deal was derailed by John Kelly and Stephen Miller, whose stance on immigration, coupled with Kelly’s position on defense spending, pushed Trump off any compromise, senior administration official tells @NBCNews

The thing is that they want to stall till the March then force dems to agree on a shitty bill since thousands and thousands are gonna lose protection every day

But they are renewing

Well not everyone is gonna renew. They can target some daca expires to create pressure and force dems take the shittiest bill ever

The senate can’t bring a bill for a vote because they don’t have the support of the WH, and even if they do, Ryan won’t bring it up for a vote because of the Hastert rule and the HFC going apeshit from any bills from the senate being voted on in the house. Some democrats seem to be wanting an out tomorrow and all they got was a flakey commitment.

Aaaah, if only Graham, Collins, McCain, and a couple of democrats or retiring republican senators had voted yes in 2010.

This is looking worse and worse with every passing second.

I'm heartbroken.

Seriously, the Democrats who voted no in 2010 all lost their re-elections, with Manchin being the only exception.

There is a blue wave coming in 2018 for sure ! Republicans will regret if they pass up this opportunity to get some of what they want in an immigration bill.
