The only thing you can do is choose nothing and wait or prepare to leave, honestly.

The fact that they are willing offer citizenship in 10-12 years for 1.8 million dreamers is a huge concession on their behalf.
Yeah, I don't know if Dems will budge tho, that's my only worry.

There may be a few bumps along the way. I think cooler heads will prevail and we'll have relief. There will be some modifications. We'll see how it pans out.

Our job to pressure them to do so. We cannot allow them to use us for politics. They are playing politics.

this bill is not going to work, they're not going to cut almost all forms of legal immigration for 10 -12 years pathway to citizenship for dreamers. Am I the only one thinks that pathway to citizenship is too long and is only going to make us second class citizens? For those dreamers who who are either educated and/or working and paying taxes why can't they get green cards( not conditional) immediately especially since dv lottery winners can get one immediately.

Are you serious? Talk about being ungrateful. We/our parents broke the law! We should be thankful for the fact that we are being considered for some relief! No other county is so gracious!

Few weeks ago many of us were okay with BRIDGE act and just trying to make it to 2020. We’ve come a long way since.

EDIT: maybe organizations like UWD would be a better fit for you.

nobody is being ungrateful, don't allow your desperation to get the best of you. I was never okay with the bridge act and never will be. Regardless, this bill is not going to work. I'm not a EWI neither are my parents. Other countries have proper immigration systems that allows you to get a pathway to legalization in a timely manner and not 20 years like the U.S. My parents have spent thousands of dollars and tried many avenues to gain pathway to legalization and even one of my parents is still in line for a green card so no I will not be okay with a shitty bill. There are many us citizen born americans who do not contribute to this country while I work everyday to save lives and do a job that many people do not want to do . Like I said before, the democrats are not going to curb almost all forms of LEGAL immigration for a one group of people.

What the hell people are you who come here pretending to be dreamers ?

2006 senate passes a CIR but house leader refuses to bring it up to vote

2013 senate passes a CIR but house leader refuses to bring it up to vote

Both house leaders were republicans

Didn't your dad get detained by ICE? You're admitting here they're broke the law. This is the same as condemning them to be deported.
