I'll stop short of saying karma because the way Dems fucked over Biden was nasty work. Biden said only he can beat Trump and maybe he knew America would never vote for a black woman. Think about this. Kamala made several trips to PA and not once did she use Biden when he's from Scranton. Why?! She ran a flawless campaign focused on middle-class America but not once did she talk about comprehensive immigration reform. Bringing over all these new migrants and giving them social security numbers, work permits and housing when we've been here for YEARS paying taxes and getting fucked over bit them in the ass. Americans hated that shit and Republicans exploited it. The minute she started using those Hollywood celebrities at her rallies she lost. It was literally shades of Hillary all over again. And let's face it - even if she had won with a Republican Congress she wasn't going to get shit done.

I'm tired of Dems pissing on my leg and telling me it's raining. Dems have bastardized us for votes for years and did absolutely nothing to help us. Even simple things like changing the registry could have made millions of lives better. You don't need Congress to enact basic changes. Say what you will about Trump but he tells you exactly what he's going to do and does it.

Obama was the deporter in chief and Biden literally did nothing. I hope every Latino who voted for Trump gets their ass and families deported.

Very racist to insinuate that every Latino voter has illegal family member

Very racist

There are so many immigrants, documented and undocumented in health care - the country AND patients need them.

The most in need are guess who? People in republican leaning states. No major hospitals in the middle of the boonies, women physicians or practitioners will not live in abortion deserts, and the majority of people qualify for ACA or Medicaid coverage, aka, Obamacare.

Likewise with construction, child care, food service, farming.

And millions of us helped this country at the frontlines through the worst of the pandemic - under Trump. He and his minions know this. Thousands died while continuing to show up to work.

Hundreds of small towns were revitalized in the past two decades by undocumented immigrants building families, businesses, and restaurants.

The media should ask this of each and every one of them every time they talk about immigration.

United We Dream is a bigger enemy than Miller, remember that they were the ones that killed the deal last time with their "legalization for All" or nothing bullsht.

Trump's deal didnt even include deportations, it even DOUBLED the amount of DACA recipients with a 12 year path to citizenship.

I hate to say this, but even with a potential Harris administration victory, it would not have made a difference. Throughout their 4 years in office, neither of them acknowledged our existence. They failed to include us in their border bill, which catered to Republican demands while neglecting our needs.

To add insult to injury, they attempted to win our support with a last-minute gesture of family parole, only to have it rejected by the Courts. If they truly cared about us, why did they wait until the eleventh hour to act?

Although Trump is far from perfect, this year he did not make ending DACA a focal point of his campaign like he did in 2016. While I cannot guarantee he won't still try to dismantle it, at least during his term he made efforts to negotiate a permanent solution with Congress - efforts that were thwarted by Democrats and were never attempted by the Biden/Harris administration during their 4 years in office.

I know this may be difficult to hear, but it is the harsh reality.

Probably the realest thing I've read on here in recent memory.
Totally agree- read online recently someone said, Trump is the legacy of Biden.
Biden did nothing for us aside from fanning the flames of anti-immigration sentiment by letting the border crisis balloon unimaginably- At least Obama instated DACA before his departure. Biden and current Dems (Pelosi, Schumer etc) did absolutely NOTHING-
At this point, in some ways, we might actually see something with Trump- hate to say it but at least he will stop the migration issue from getting worse, maybe provide some solution for employ-able/skilled- immigrants

Still devastated for the sake of this country and democracy that Harris lost, but personally, she would not have made a different on the immigration front (probably continued to let migrants in, give everyone asylum/housing etc, and no actual solutions for longtime established immigrations working and paying taxes here-like many of us).. Democrats only propose wildly unrealistic solutions that are bound to fail. So here we are
