Those of you who have been approved -- did you encounter any delays with getting your new green card in the mail?

Is it hard to submit on your own for humanitary reasons? I have family members in Mexico, and I would only be going to the border and back not all the way to see them. Would I nee proof to submit and or proof when I get back? I am very clueless to the process.

Any information, and or suggestions would be GREAT! We would like to have this done ASAP if oo6possible.
I personally don't think you need a lawyer for AP,especially if your expediting. When you do an emergency travel you are literally speaking to the person who will tell you yes or no on the spot. You need proof to apply for AP. You don't need that same proof entering the US. If you went down to see a sick grandma they won't ask you for pics with your sick grandma lol. You put all your evidence in when applying for AP + a typed letter by you stating why you absolutely need to go see sick gma

Gotcha! I thought it was extensive and necessary for a lawyer to process, I think I will go on my own and file in the next couple of days. Hoping it gets approved will solve a HUGE problem for me.

Thanks so much!

I will keep you guys updated.
P.S.

Who do I speak to about expediting the app after I submit it? I am guessing someone at the USCIS office where I get my Biometrics done?

Hey y'all anyone here previously married then divorced and remarried and filed aos with second marriage?
I would like to know if at the time of interview they ask about previous marriage and if I would need to provide proof. I keep reading online about uscis believing first marriages could be a immigration sham. Or the second one. I'm sort of panicking. My timeline would be considered suspicious on paper. I got married when I was 19 we didn't work out. He was sleeping in the living room and me in the room didn't have money to move out (this was a year after marriage) eventually I met my now husband and we moved in together and we've been together for 2 years and I got pregnant in the middle of those 2 years but I didn't get divorced until a money before my son was born. And then got married to husband 7 months after divorce and now applying to adjust status. Does that sound iffy? I don't want them to think I got married to sham.

I, too, would like to know anyone in here who have previously divorced and remarried for AOS and what kind of questions you would expect them to ask during the interview?

Yes, more than a month without update on card production

Made appointment for this Friday to go back to the offices and ask if they can take a look at why it's taking so long.

The day of the interview (a Friday) the system was down so he couldn't submit the approval on the computer, so I'm thinking the officer archived my file and forgot to approve the Monday after.

Oh well.

So you believe that it's a technical issue specific to you and not a widespread, systematic problem like the DACA delays, right?

Yes, everyone else's status changes the day of, the next day or within a week of their interview so it tells me that there shouldn't be any long processing delays for that.

Are you having issues too?
