I'm also from Chicago and filed on 7/7/14 and did my biometrics on 8/4/14 and have been waiting every since then. My case status states intial review and is in Texax and mine expires 11/15/14. I called USCIS to see if i can expedite my case so lets hope they approve it.

Anyone else expired and waiting?
Application sent from California to Phoenix on June 9
Application received june 12th
Biometrics done 7/11
On "Initial review" since then
Expired October 2 going on my third week expired
I think mine was sent to Texas also......

Im i the only one expired for so long? Do you guys know if there is anything I can do... When I called the 800 number all they said is to wait

Go to that page, type in your zipcode and find who s who is your representative. On his/her page find information on how to do congressionAl inquiry. Most likely you just have to fax over a privacy release form

So my card got in production last Thursday and I haven't received it. Anyone know how long it takes to get it in the mail? I remember my first time it took 4 days and now im nervous because the first biometrics letter got lost in the mail.

Mine was approved and went into production last wednesday 10/08 and it was mailed out yesterday 10/16.. i will receive it tomorrow saturday 10/18 according to the tracking number they provided me on the USCIS website...
