Are you having issues too?
Our lawyer is still preparing our paperwork. I'm only asking to gauge what road bumps we might have to look forward to.

So my Daca expires on March 23, 2017.. I've already submitted my application for AOS. Dec. 2016...I did NOT renew my Daca because I took Trump for his word that he was going to remove it, and I figured I would have my new EAD by now. I did my Bios for AOS Jan 31. My drivers license for some reason expires on my birthday 3-14 but my Daca expires the 23.. I called my lawyer to see if we could expedite the EAD card that comes with the i765 but she said no. I know someone said they did.. Anyone else have experience and if so how to do it?

Wow, It's been a long time since I've been on here.
I remember back to 2012 when I got approved for DACA. #78 on the approval thread. WOOT WOOT!

Haha.

Well, I got married back in October of 2015 but only recently (as a result of current events) have my spouse and I decide to adjust my status.

My application was prepared by a local immigration lawyer, and was approximately sent in on February 7th.
I received 3 receipt notices in the mail today(2/27), pertaining to the I485, I30, I765 from National Benefit Center.

Looking at people's timelines on immihelp and this forum, I consider my timeline to be taking a bit longer. Probably because of the application submittals also sparked by what's going on in our country.

Anywho, as a student, Im expected to have finals about the third week of March, but I can foretell that my biometrics appointment will fall sometime within this time. *gut feeling. Does anyone know if there are any consequences for showing up to my SC to complete the biometrics step ahead of the scheduled appointment?

Thanks so much!

I will keep you guys updated.
P.S.

Who do I speak to about expediting the app after I submit it? I am guessing someone at the USCIS office where I get my Biometrics done?

I only used a lawyer because he was 500 and I could afford it but knowing what I know now I wouldn't have. Just make sure all evidence points to humanitarian and proof of relationship. I wish you the best of luck. Get your personal letter notarized

Speaking from my recent DACA renewal experience, I had to travel for work on the day that my bios were originally scheduled. I went to the bio office a week early to try to do a walk-in, and I brought work emails to prove that I actually will be out of town. Instead of letting me do the walk-in, someone at the office rescheduled my appointment right then and there.

I went on my trip, came back and did the bio on the new date, and didn't have a problem getting it done. For you, I suggest bringing your class syllabus and maybe an email from your professor confirming that you cannot do the bio on the original date. You might get lucky and be able to do the walk-in anyway!

I have a question: My dad is going to receive his green card soon. Has anyone done DACA to AOS through their parents in this thread? What's the process? I'm not EWI btw
