I was surprised too when I saw this Huge packet the officer that interviewed us had in his desk. I'm assuming it's all our DACA stuff?

I have two questions for the ladies who are/have AOS via marriage... Did you change your name before the interview or before filing your AOS paperwork?

I renewed my EAD card for DACA and submitted all AOS paperwork using my maiden name. My renewal app was sent 1 month before I was married. I just changed my name with SSA and will change with the DMV, too. Am I now required to change my name on my EAD (DACA) too? I just don't want to pay another fee to replace it if I don't need to.

Oh okay, so basically all of the applications you've ever filed with USCIS? Or did they spy on us? lol

Well when he was flipping threw one of the packets I saw a very old school record and report cards when I was in middle school. I never sent that in to USCIS. So they defiantly did a deep background check! It showed all sort of things that I never sent them. They have some deep connections. lol I'm just glad I got approved.

^ Damn. I'm starting to get nervous for our interview now.
That's still months away, though -- our lawyer's not even done with filling out the paperwork.

Thank you Venus, you have alleviated my own nerves. I have my interview on March 2nd for AOS through my US Citizen Wife. Quick question, did you take just your past EAD's or did you also take the receipts? Not sure if I should be bringing all past receipts. I know I am taking my interview receipt for sure.
