Did you guys ever run int trouble for working illegally in the past?

For example using a random SS#?

That is the only thing I am afraid. Can you share the experience?

This is my concern also. How deep do these background checks go. My buddy just AOS and he has applied to two colleges with the kiss of death i-9 and that didn't come up. So what is in those packets?? This is my concern.

I'm 100% sure I didn't send any evidence that he had in the second packet he had on his desk. The first packet he had out was (DACA AND AOS) evidence. Then he pulled out a second packet and I joked with him what that was he said "Your history in the US we have to make sure your admissible to the US" and started flipping threw the second packet and was checking off stuff in red ink and asked if I have ever committed fraud or told a immigration officer a fraud statement or have every used fake immigration documents, and I said No! because I have never did any of those things. Also asked about past employment and current employment. I saw a couple of things that I NEVER sent them before like old cellphone bill and old insurance cards and middle school report cards, that second packet was VERY HUGE! I'm just glad I got approved!

You're the first person who has mentioned a second packet showing up at the interview.

Has anyone else here had the same experience??

Damn I see, so they know everything...

I did use them. I have read you are forgiven if you do AOS via marriage, I heard you are forgiven for working illegally and also for fake documents.

A bit weird my friend applied to two state colleges claiming to be a citizen on I-9. How come that didn't show up on him?

Idk? I think ever since trump did that executive order on immigration they are starting to dig deeper into immigrants history in the US.

No way they could have known that about the EO though. You applied last year before elections. Maybe it's for the i245 people? Where the heck is CapitolDreamer?!

I doubt it has anything to do with that...

I am really going to need a lawyer when I adjust. Fuck me.

Wow, if that's true, then that's pretty crazy...

Like does this mean our emails, our text messages, etc. are subject to "research" even if we don't provide them ourselves???
