submit an inquiry online and call up. I got my biometrics after 2.5 months and it was in response to my inquiry.

Then about 30 mins ago I got an email from the attorney! -          Your A#/USCIS # and what service center your case is in
-          Date of your biometrics appointment
-          Description of the type of job that you had and how long you were working there
-          Brief description of any other hardship you are facing by having your EAD expire
Please also send me the best number and email to reach you.

I replied right away. Maybe this is an option for those of us that have expired permits? I'll keep you all posted.

Got same email and going through same process. Atleast we know that USCIS has started to get pressure from big organizations. We still need to try to make our voices heard. Ill also keep you guys posted.

Depends on the employer. Check their I9, I believe its what is called or contact H.R. they might be ok with just the receipt number. As long as yout application is pending they might still accept it. I believe they need to use e-verify for this to happen. Anyways, contact H.R.
