I'm in the same boat as you. I was approved the same day and it says the same thing. I was wondering when you were initially suppose to expire? and if you found out how long it takes for them to mail it to us. when i first applied, it took five days after they approved it, but this time i know it will be different. I think that they give us a tracking number and when we get that, we will know for sure that its on its way.

So my EAD expires 12-12-14. I sent in my renewal 143 days early on 7-22-14. Completed bio-metrics early August. Checking my case status often.
Then this Friday it says that they sent my a letter on 11-14-14 because they need evidence and that processing has been suspended.
I should get the letter this week, but I'm worried my EAD will expire due to their delays!!! I work for the government and I have not had anyone approach me about the EAD ending and suspending my work. I plan on contacting them to send in whatever evidence they need (not sure, since I haven't had any other addresses, only two jobs, and no run ins with the law).

Anybody have any advice on work leaves of absence in case it does come down to that point?

Hey guys I checked my case status and to my surprise, I have been approved for renewal only 4 days after walk-in Biometrics.. I was afraid of being too late sending my renewal less than 2 months from EAD expiration. GOOD LUCK ALL!

Ok so I called today and spoke with a supervisor at USCIS.
My DACA renewal is suspended until they receive additional evidence, but they can't see what the request letter states. However I should receive it this week.
I got a bunch of "no interim EAD" are granted to DACAmented folks and 90 days for EAD only begins after DACA (821-D) has been approved.

Then she "looked further" and found that if the evidence requested is provided they will extend EAD 60 days from the date the documents (requested evidence) was received.

Still, I set an Infopass appointment to be on the safe side. Good luck and I'll keep ya'll posted.

No such things as interim EADs nor extension of EADs. Those USCIS reps are just reading off what is written on their website which is inaacurate.

USCIS stopped issuing interim eads years ago coz of fraud although info about it remains on their website.
So by law they are suppose to issue them but just stopped doing it. I know its complicated and unjust.

I got approved today, 5 days before the current ead expired.

got approved yesterday , hoping that i will receive it before it expires which is the 28th of november

When will I receive my new EAD?

I'm renewing, my current document expires on Dec 12, 2014.

Well, it was mailed on the 20th so probably 2-5 days. Log on to a computer and check it, it doesn't show your tracking number on your phone.

I received mine yesterday, that was fast..
