I certainly hope you're right. For the most part it seems the majority of us approved in December were approved in the first two weeks.

I'm hoping my sister is approved this week. She's starting to get worried about HR.

like i said, i expire 12-10-14 and i just dont understand USCIS logic.......they renew people left and right , but yet i see people from July who are not approved....makes no sense, either some workers are just lazy or i just dont know what to think,

but, lets be positive and hope that they approve all of us before thanksgiving, because those holidays are going to make some of those workers even lazier......

The same thing happened in 2012. There were a a ton of approvals before Thanksgiving and right after.

You're right, the only thing we can do is stay positive and hope that we see some approvals this week.

Come on uscis! Hook it up with the approval.

Sat on the phone for 3 hours to speak with a level two rep and she let us know that the USCIS system has been up and down for the last week. IMO, this might be the reason why we've seen such slow approvals.

If my sister is able to get any more information, I will definitely let you guys know.

Edit: Her case is with an officer, biometrics and name cleared on 09/08/14 but the system where more detailed information could be pulled from is down. The officer promised to enter her expedite request once the system comes back up.

But FYI if you're going to call, call as soon as they open at 9AM, so you don't waste so much of your day on the phone.

My's sister's approval came via email tonight.

Original expiration: 12/14/14
Biometrics: 9/8/14
Approval: 11/17/14

Take my advice and contact a level 2 rep or ombudsman before your EAD expires. Do not wait. We are our own advocates.
