I hope many parents get included. I know mine will be completely crushed if they aren't.

I don't drink, but I suggested my husband and I grab a bottle of Martinelli's but he reminded me that we did buy a bottle of wine this weekend (white for cooking). I am also interested to hear the commentary from political and legal analyst. I was glad to hear Jose Diaz Balart on his MSNBC show make the clarification that this is not amnesty. Many democrats have not been more active in pushing back against the whole amnesty speak. I also hope that the white house has enlisted some of their best to go on the news networks to talk/ give commentary on this because it is imperative that surrogates fight back against this amnesty/lawlessness bs.

I might go out tonight but will be all nervous until I hear the announcement. I'm taking NSAIDs for an entrapped nerve and drinking alcohol and NSAIDs is a recipe for getting an ulcer so we'll see.

LOL, I am so excited for everyone that will benefit, and yet depressed as all hell for whoever doesn't benefit.

I keep thinking about how this could be it for years...maybe decades to come, and whoever doesn't get relief is SOL.

I have been trying my best to stay away from the news because everyone keeps saying Parents of DACA recipients will not be included. I cant help but to feel extremely guilty and like such a let down to my parents. I wish i could do something for them. I feel disappointed in myself.

Today seems like a bitter sweet day. I am happy for everyone that will be able to benefit, truly i am. I cannot wait to help as many as i can and they can experience the feeling i experienced when i got DACA. At the same i am not looking forward to the disappointment and depression that this will bring to my family.

Today is a good day, i am hoping everyone else is wrong and the President surprises us but deep inside i know better. I know better.

From what ive seen so far

Parents of USC/LPR children who have been here for a min of 5 yrs and no serious crim history

DACA people who werent eligible before because of the 30 yr old cap. That will either be taken away or raised to a different age.

Noone else.
