Is it actually likely that our EADs will become invalid tomorrow? Losing my job after just signing my offer would fucking destroy me

I don't think that's legal, especially if you have a clean background. From what I remember back then reading it here, you can post bail.

- Congress passes a RAC/DREAM/Bridge Act with a veto-proof majority 66%-68%

Man, I just don't see this happening. We need 18 Senate Republicans and 102 House Republicans. That's a lot of Republicans we need!

From ILRC:

Quote:
Employment Authorization Documents (EADs), also known as work permits, are generally valid until they expire or the government demands they be returned. Unless the government demands that you return your work permit, the following points should apply.
 If the DACA program ends but you are allowed to keep your work permit, you have the right to work legally until your work permit’s expiration date.  Even if the DACA program ends, you have no obligation to inform your employer that DACA has ended. Your employer does not have the right to ask you whether you are a DACA recipient or how you got your work permit.  Your employer does not have the right to fire you, put you on leave, or change your work status until after your work permit has expired. If your expiration date is nearing, your employer may ask you for an updated work permit but cannot take any action against you until after it is expired. 

CIR w/DREAM ACT in 2013 passed 68-24 in Senate.

we will see, they say 80% of Republicans support DREAMEr's, combine that with 100% of Democrats in the house thats way over a veto proof majority.

We will see where these politicians stand in these dire moments.

Yeah, the government asking for the EADs is what worries me because of how they went after those who didn't turn in the cards issued for 3 years.
