Trump/Ryan spoke recently about trying to get an interim CR tonight. Colleague John Roberts rpts Schumer open to 5-day CR, but WH wants a month-long CR to avert a shutdown. WH more optimistic there will NOT be a shutdown

No 28 day extension without DACA.

5-7 day extension with DACA

those are the Schumer demands but WH says no imminent urgency for DACA bcuz its deadline is still in March.

The fact that Schumer didn’t even tell Trump to back off his DACA lawsuit in the Supreme Court as part of the deal is such BS!! Let’s hope it’s nothing crazy.

The White House is fucking incompetent if they can't get it through their fat heads that people need protection NOW.

If that is the case, there better be a damn good explanation other than “assurances” on continued DACA talk. Graham and Durbin will not like this!

WH says Trump doesnt take the first deal (Graham-Durbin). wants to further negotiate it per CNN.

Schumer wants 5 day CR ext w/ DACA

Trump want's 28 day CR ext w/o DACA & continue negotiations for 1 month.
