Stop spreading false information and panic. Chill out you drama queen. McConnell will bring a compromise bill to vote before Feb. 8. Wait and see before you start having a bitch fit.

Regardless of whether pledges to hold votes can be kept, it should now be clear that there won’t be a budget without a DACA path to citizenship.

But the Republicans still need Trump to support a deal or we end up back where we are now, Feb 8. 2/

Even if it's true, we now know they can keep doing CRs over and over again. In the meantime more people will keep expiring.

And I am loving the fact that TESTER voted NO! Where was his lousy ass back in 2010 when he could have voted for cloture on the Dream ACT? I sincerely hope that he looses his seat, to a DEM or REP... I don't care. I hope that he is gone come 2019!

White House Deputy Press Secretary on CNN saying...

Quote:
-President will not sign Durbin-Graham bill as is
-McConnel will only put a bill to vote that the President supports.
-President will only allow DACA recipients to stay if fixes other immigration pieces overall

I'm not too bummed about this as I don't see any other damage control moves left, just bought more time for further talks. Whether it'll work or not we'll see.
I see your point. I still think the DEMs should have held out longer to see if additional pressure would force the GOP to concede more.

Media coverage? Yeah a bunch of news anchors calling us the illegal aliens that led to the government shutdown was so positive for our cause.

This is not good. For Democrats.

Progressives: starting today, we will turn up the pressure, organizing, and $$ fundraising to replace useless politicians, no matter their party affiliation.
They have until 2/8 before we go all out campaigning for their replacements, those who will work for tbe people, not wall street, and that means you, too Schumer.

Starting today. The Democratic party has betrayed immigrants over and over. Enough.

But this bill will just end up dying in the house. If Ryan doesn't bring it up for a vote, there's nothing we can do.

We can only hope that the "deal" was for it to be brought up as an amendment to the spending bill. It won't go anywhere as a stand alone.
Makes sense. So is it a foregone conclusion that there will be yet another C.R. on February 8th? Because if there isn’t and nothing gets done by then, I just don’t see how the democrats can help us.
