Whatever happens we will finally be free. In my heart I knew this DACA wouldn't last forever. I am ready to move forward into the future.

I had that sense a decade ago and made plans with a financial advisor (fiduciary) to set up all funds in such a way that I can just hit the "eject" button and move my assets to a new home country.

Made that move in 2022 and I never have the thought of "how long can I stay here? what is there are new laws that change the equation?" - I will encourage anyone and everyone to have that contingency plan.
