Identification card D**** was mailed on 01/07/2013. No further action is required on your part.
They got the date wrong, but it's good to know it was mailed. Woooooh.

1) all the other letters (A,B,C,D,E) are taken so now they are moving up the alphabet.
2) Dmv's here in Southern Cal have a designation of what letter they will use.

Maybe... my moms ca id starts with a D but this is like few years ago.
