That would make sense, as I have been previously issued an EAD and SSN, and also have a denied I-485 in 2004. Other than that, I'm the typical visa overstay, no deportation (despite denied I-485), no criminal record, and good evidence in my 30-40 page (thin) packet.
So I might be waiting quite a while longer than others...

1st renewal received6/17/2014. Biometrics 7/10/14. Approved 9/8/2014.
2nd renewal received 4/19/2016. Biometrics 9/6. EAD Expired 9/8/2016, approved on 9/19/2016,
3rd renewal received 2/12/2018, biometrics 3/5. Approved 4/25/2018

Same here. Denied 1-485. Been issued an EAD twice before and recently the last one was denied. Other than that I felt like I'm a simple case of overstayed visa. Ugh as much as I try to rationalize the wait I'm super irritated.

More or less the same situation. I had a SSN with along an EAD or possibly not but something happened though. We basically had to reapply and get back to the end of the line back in 2007 or 2008. :/
