For those of you who expire on 8/17 and have been recently approved. Did you guys created your account as soon as you guys got the letter with the access code?

I ask bc I did not create an account and my code had expired. I finally was able to create an account on Friday 8/5 when there seemed to be a glitch that allowed me to create it with an expired code.

I wonder if creating an account on a timely manner has anything to do with approvals?!

So happy for everyone getting approvals , I was starting to freak out ( actually have had full blown break downs ) knowing it was taking so long and I just moved to FL which means I have a new job that is very aware of my EAD expiration date since it was almost an issue when getting hired. CONGRATS EVERYONE and I hope they keep them coming .

THIRD RENEWAL PACKAGE SENT : 5/23/16
BIO LETTER RECEIVED : 5/28/16
BIO DONE: 6/14/16
EAD EXPIRATION: 9/26/16

I doubt it the account is not necessary as you can read in the letter it says of whether you make it or not USCIS will continue to process your application. I too was unable to make an account at first until recently. I haven't been approved but my EAD expire 9/10.

NOTE: Access to your USCIS Online Account will expire 30 days from the receipt date listed at the top of this letter. We will continue processing
your application whether or not you access your USCIS Online Account. We strongly encourage you to confirm your USCIS Online Account as
soon as possible and then use it in the future as your preferred method for interacting wth USCIS.

PSA: The My Account Code doesn't actually expire

Maybe the USCIS account system is so screwed up, the codes can't expire on time...lol...

So try the code even if it expired, it should work.

Yeah it didn't work for me at first and then like two months later it did lol

One more data point:

Expiry date: 8/17

Current status on USCIS My Account - In Progress BUT ---

" USCIS has approved your application or petition, or request. USCIS will mail your proof of benefit or USCIS action to you."

Won't count my chickens until I have it in my hand... But god I hope so.

Wow everyone getting approved should have their card at the latest this coming friday. Congrats guys! Let us know when you guys get it before going back on with your lives

Us September expirations should be getting approved soon as well.

I'm glad to know many of us are being approved. I've been unable to gain access to the myaccount.uscis log in, but I'm hopeful that I'll show an approval once I finally log in, as several with my time line--expiration on the 17th--have now been approved.

Congrats! Now all you have to do is wait for your new EAD to arrive and then get over to your local DMV to get a new DL renewal, which is what I'll be doing once I'm finally approved.
