I just got approved and I thought I would share my timeline.

Filed: Aug. 25th
Biometrics: Sept. 19th
Approved: Dec. 17th

I would like to point out that my old EAC expires on the 19th of Dec. so yes, I too have been freaking out. Good luck to those who are still waiting!

And the wait will begin as soon as my biometrics are done this afternoon. It's been a month since I sent the renewal app, on Nov. 22nd. I'm glad that I'm not under a time crunch since I'm self employed and don't need to report to an employer. I'm banking on a mid March approval.

Your probably still pending background/security checks. They won't issue any type of immigration benefit until all required background checks are done.....sorry hope you get approved soon! Stay positive!

It's stupid because my first application was approved a month faster than my renewal. Hell I even had to do a full background check on me for school purposes and everything came clean.

Maybe you got red flagged because someone has the same name as you or multiple people have the same name as you or (FBI) hasn't finished your biometrics or biographic information. You'll get your approval soon.
