Hey guys, I barely post, yet I'm always coming on here lurking the forums.
So I wanted to let you know that my application was approved, and I've received it!

I am so grateful for this opportunity, I can not wait to "start" my life.
It couldn't have came at a better time, as I will be graduating this May with a double major and I've received a paid internship for this summer!

I want to thank all of this community for all the informative info I was able to acquire, it greatly helped me understand the application process resulting in a very smooth transition. I really appreciate all the posts, even the random fun ones, which lighten the mood lol.
To everyone who has yet to be approved, hang in there it'll come before you know it!

You are certainly not the only August applicant left waiting. There is a whole thread dedicated to August applicants that are still waiting. Just think of how much it'll be worth it once you get approved. As much as everyone says it could take up to 4-6 months (which is true), most people are obviously getting approved no later than 4 months or less. USCIS just likes to allot themselves a large time frame in case they get backlogged. I'm sure you'll be approved relatively soon.

Honestly, I doubt it. They'll have the weekend off as usual from what I gather, and then Monday and Tuesday off. Some will probably be on vacation, too. Hopefully that doesn't slow them down!

Finally caved and put in a service center request today for my I-765. I didn't tell them this time about my DACA application. It worked. I was able to put a request in. The representative was very helpful and nice, and told me I should get a call from an immigration officer no later then the Monday after next. (The Monday after next week). Hopefully this will shed some light on my case.
