So a weird happened to my brother's case. A month and a half ago he received a letter saying that his application was going to be transferred to the National Benefits Center, supposedly to "speed up processing time". Well I did my share of research and that office doesn't handle these applications. I also looked around and found some forum and the same thing happened to a few back in September but everyone just stopped posting.

Today he receive a letter saying that his case was being transferred back to Vermont, again with the to "speed up processing time". I have no idea what it could have been about. I mean, I guess it's good that they're transferring it back to Vermont! That should mean someone is hopefully working on his case. We sent the applications at the same time but his biometric was one day after me (Revieved 09/05, bios 10/04).

I was just wondering if someone can share their insight on this. Has anyone heard of a similar case?

I get a bit worried about these things, even though my brother's record is squeaky clean. If we aren't approved at the same time I honestly wish he's approved first. I would feel guilty if he wasn't and also wouldn't be able to be a happy as I would like. So I really hope what's going on with his case is a good thing.

Clear your name with the IRS? if our application has go to through the IRS then all of us are fucked! because if anything, majority of us here are working with either a fake SSN or under the table. If the IRS possessed the knowledge of us making money behind their back and without paying taxes, do you really think they will let that go?

stop making false assumptions. Youre misleading and confusing the rest of the dreamers.
You have to realize this is the US govt. u do know they are checking everything associated with ur name right, remember they said to enclose any fake SS numbers you may have been using. They stated it wouldn't be held against you. U do remember that don't u? Trust and believe every address and its associated owners are being investigated. Why do u think that less than half whom are eligible applied

There is a couple of others in here. In the August and Sept. thread. I think that because the NBC prepares cases for interviews a couple of cases were randomly selected to be sent there for review. Since it is a new process. They might want to see what they are working with. We have not heard of interviews taking place yet. That is just my theory. Because the other thing I heard and read on other websites was that on October 1st cases were transferred to the NBC to ease the load of other centers. The only other explanation would be that they mistakenly transferred DACA cases.
