Anyone who's had a typographical error on there EAD card and sent it back to get if fixed, how long did it take uscis to fix and re issue you a corrected card? Thank you!

Hey Guys. I wanted to share my story. I did my Bio on Sep 25. Nebraska service center, I'm still not approved. I did talk to a nice lady on the phone by calling uscis and she filed a service request on my case.
Today I got a letter, saying that they had to do additional review on my case and if I haven't received a decision in 6 months from this letter, to call for an update ! That's just crazy. I've been waiting for almost 4 months now and I'm suppose to wait another 6 months. Anyone else heard of anything like this ?

I did my BIOS on Sep 27 called them as well and they keep telling me that I have to wait until the 6 months haves pass..that suxs ..and as for the service request I requested one but I don't know excacly what they did to it cuz they told me that my service request didn't went through cuz an error and they send me a letter to explaning that situation but i never received anything

Still waiting here. I did receive an email response to the service center request I put in on the 21st of this month though. It was the usual service center request response that I was expecting.

"The status of this service request is:

Based on your request we researched the status of this case. We are actively processing this case. However, we have to perform additional review on this case and this has caused a longer processing time. You will receive a decision or other notice of action as soon as a decision is made."

"If you have any further questions, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283."

I called USCIS earlier today to inquire about what the "additional review" was all about and as usual the representative was clueless. I won't be calling them again because they just give you the same go around every single time. If you try putting a service center request in for your DACA application, they will just keep telling you that they can't until the 4-6 month processing time has passed. However, you can put in a service center request in like I did for the I-765, although I don't think it does much good. I'm just going to go back to waiting it out again. Really hoping January is our month as there are now only two business days left for December.
