I'm not so sure. The process itself may be structured that way but it doesn't seem logical. However the overall outcome does not change. If you are approved for this relief and after two years you do not renew it or they don't approve your renewal then i'm sure you will get a removal order no matter what your status was before applying.

(of course I have no content to back up my theory so you're open to criticism)

but they can let you do motion to reopen and close or terminate your case when you get advance parole, which seems like removing the order of deportation.

Did you get a frivolous finding or not? If you got a frivolous finding, you won't be able to get anything for your whole life.

My DACA Application was sent 08/15/2012 - Forwarded to NEBRASKA - Biometrics taken 09/13/2012 Status as of Today (11/04/2012): Still in Initial Review, have heard nothing.

My cousin sent his in on 9/15/2012 - Biometrics taken 10/4/2012 and was approved 11/1/2012.

Anyone else have their biometrics taken around the same time (9/13) and still waiting?

What I mean is just what I saw from USCIS's website about closing or terminate deportation case, which might be better for the future, I didnt meant that we can travel safely after doing that.

Yeah but you can only motion to reopen one time...you think deferred action advanced parole request is strong? (im asking, not saying that youre wrong)

My approach will be to make the strongest case possible and as soon as possible.
