I received my biometric appointment letter today. Its scheduled for 10-29 at Uscis Varick Street. So glad I got that one and don't have to go all the way to Elizabeth.

The 18 or 18.5 in regards to incurring a ban for overstaying ranging I think from 5-10 years.

Yay came home from work to find my bio appointment letter had arrived I have it on 10/25/2012 which is actually pretty good saves me from doing a walk in hopefully it won't take too long after that. Good luck everyone

By the way, for anyone reading this thread, that has not yet submitted their application do so ASAP, no not because Romney can be the next president, because the holidays are coming!! And if you thought there was a "wait" now, wait until you get to late october-january when offices just discuss holiday parties and whatever.

I got a little taste of this sort of delay. I sent my application on a MONDAY received on WEDNESDAY, didn't here anything until NEXT Tuesday. And looking at the dates my letters were dated (10/4, RECEIVED 10/13) someone (either USCIS, OR USPS) was taking their SWEET time to mail them out.

Just FYI.

By the way the letters were mailed from California to California. Not even out of state letters take that long. None that I mailed out at least.
