P.S. - When DAPA was announced, I remember stating on this forum that it was a bad move. I got CHEWED here and got called selfish by people on this forum who are living in an alternate universe. Remember, these court cases started after DAPA. We were chilling before then.

I agree it was a bad move, but DACA would have been ended by now regardless. In other words, I don't think DAPA has anything to do with the fact that DACA is on its last stand, unfortunately.

That's it for Supreme Court decisions today. 2 today--no #DACA opinion. We'll find out Friday when the next decision day is. #HomeIsHere

They are not going to put out a decision until they are about to run out if time. They might be trying to milk the clock to look less bad if cases go down...

Yeah they will wait until the last minute to make a decision because of COVID. They don't need backlash right now.

It's not because of Covid. SC always releases their big decisions in June. I expect a ruling in June. The only thing that is important is that they accepted the brief about the 200K front line workers. One that tells us that they will used that for the majority decision, saying how vital we are etc etc etc or they will use that for the dissent saying how important is that we allow those 200k+ workers to remain here.

Either way I expect the SC to turn this back on Trump. They are not gonna end DACA for Trump. It will be a similar ruling to healthcare where Roberts will say let the people decide what to do with DACA. Trump wins again DACA is probably gone forever. Biden wins possible permanent solution for us. But this will all come back to Trump. Will he end DACA before the election(the right way) or will he wait until the election is over????????/

That’s why I am not feeling the doom and gloom. I really don’t think Trump will end DACA during an election year right before the election. And then there’s the whole coronavirus pandemic he has to deal with. I think we will be safe *knock on wood*

No, we would've been like TPS... under the radar and nobody cared about. This all started after DAPA.

There is a difference in giving sudo-legal status individuals who came here as children to no fault of their own and adults who came here illegally and decided to have children.

DAPA had bad PR from day 1. The injunction came right away!
