I heard that after you get the MSC code, the case gets rerouted to one of the other service centers (i.e. NSC, CSC, etc.) Is that true?

No. MSC is the National Benefits Center. They take care of all the paperwork before they send it over to your field office for interview. They check you have everything that's needed. They are also the ones that issue the EAD/AP for your AOS cases.

Omg !!! Its scheduled...not even 5 min after writing ^^^^^^ that did i check and it was updated....it took 75 days to get a interview date

75 days is not too bad. What's the average wait? Or, is it based on local field offices?

Their PD is Dec 5. I think they meant from the time it changed to "ready to be scheduled for interview" to the actual interview date took 75 days. I have been on immihelp and some other immigration sites and people have reported that their status never changes from "fingerprint fee received". They just randomly get their interview appt in the mail.
