Is your renewal case cut and dry? No new criminal activity, etc. that you are reporting this time around?

I don't remember 100%, but I do think someone mentioning something about checks from smaller banks or credit unions... not sure what the issue or topic about that was. I always send a money order/cashier's check from my bank to make things as easy as possible.

Yeah my case is cut and dry never had any issues . I will give it a week , I guess if there’s an issue with the check I guess they will let me know . I wish I had just sent a cashier check . I’ve read in some other immigration blog that personal checks can take up to 2 weeks . I hope that’s not the case .

Approved yesterday at the 135 day mark from expiration. Those were a stressful few days more so probably because the delay of my renewal reminded me that possibly any time now, DACA will be no more.

I plan on re-sending my renewal sometime in late December or early January. Is there a "2021 Expiration" thread?

Best of luck to everyone on their renewals.

EAD expires 11/13/2019

Package received 10/7/2019
Fingerprint 10/29/2019
EAD approved, card being produced 10/29/2019
I821D not yet approved

It took 22 days for approval.
EAD approved the same day I went in for fingerprint.
Too fast.

Hey guys,

My EAD expires on 5/20/20. Do you think it's too early to go ahead and send my application in? Anyone else expire in May that sent theirs in?

Start filling out your app and gathering your other packet requirements and send it before the start of Decemeber. Assuming everything is good with your case, app, and payment, they will set your biometrics appointment up and then sit on your case until late December-ish and around that time (150 days before you expire), they should finish the processing and approve your renewal.

Wedding, work, family stuff...
Didn't have time! Also, past renewals took max 2 months so I took my sweet ass time.
Perhaps too much but it all worked out.

DACA was approved today as well.
