When I talked to a rep from uscis she asked me why I wanted to expedite my case and I told her my reasoning and she gave me a confirmation number and told me I would hear at the latest in 5 days but who knows if it will go through. She never told me I couldn't ask to have my case expedited. Even with the new dates I'm still a ways away where did you see the dates? And how often do they update them? I don't understand why it's so behind bc even if I had applied during my ideal application period my current permit would of still expired. I've had friends who applied in August and had suck a quick process.

Wifeofadreamer : I hope your husbands case moves fast you definitely fit under their qualifications to have the case expedited

My DACA expired in November... I didn't have enough money to pay for the application until December.
I sent it out, it was received December 16th, 2014.
I went for biometrics.
Now, I Called the USCIS, they said they are working on September 4th's applications.
Mine is December 16th!
That's 3 months APART.
Last time I called the guy said I would get it either March or April, now they're saying April/May
This is just a RENEWAL guys. Why is it taking so long???
I got a job at Verizon Wireless being a sales rep. I make good money now and I have potential to make bank!
I'm on their payroll, that's not the problem.
My license for NJ expired 3 weeks ago. I have to drive to work 3-5 times a week! I can't renew it until I get the actual card. I already spoke with DMV, they can't do anything.....
OMG.

Renewal
Received 9/8/14
Bio 9/29/14

and I haven't received anything else. When I call USCIS I get a different answer every time. They said that they are behind by 41days. I went to my local USCIS office and they can't help me. I was told I just pretty much just have to sit and wait. My DACA expired on 1/7/15

Here is my update I called USCIS on January the 5th and explain to them what was going on they transfer my call to an actual Immigration Office and the Officer told me that I could go to my local office to request an extent on my Work Permit so that exactly what I did. At my local USCIS office (off beltway 8 and 45N for anyone in the Houston area) a USCIS supervisor told that they can not extent my work permit and that who ever gave me that information was incorrect I explained to him about what it said on the website and he said that the information on the website, call center and the actual office is not always all the same. Pretty much that they don't have their stuff together. What he recommend for me to do was to send a letter to the office that was processing my case and explained to them my situation and ask to expedite my case. So that's what I did but I guess it didn't do any good because I still haven't received anything.

I called today and I was told that the Nebraska office is processing the first week of September cases and that if I didn't receive anything by the 1st or 2nd week of March to give them a call to open a case file. So I hope I can see some updates on the website within the next couple of weeks.

Hey guys I have a question. On the 765 form the question for where we have previously applied for work authorization, I know it's supposed to be the service center that approved it, but for the date next to it, is it supposed to be the date we got approved or the date we applied??

Not 100% sure but I believe when you applied so I put the receipt date, the date that they got my initial application.

My application was received on 12/26/14. I did my biometrics on 1/22/15. And my EAD expires mid match. I'm really concerned since I'm a college senior, I already have an IT job lined up with a major financial institution. I'm really scared that I won't get my ead in time for the early June start date. It would be a punch to the gut for me, I always thought I'd be working low paying cash jobs and school was a waste of time without the ability to work legally. I was all excited for this opportunity, and I might have it taken away because of the delays in processing.
