I regret applying in September should have waited till november

Lol I just called and the level 2 operator told me that my application has been lost and I would have to give them a new packet and fee. She also told me that applications shouldn't take 5+ months since it's only a deferred action and not for GC.



Still in disbelief...

that is stupid... It generally takes 4-6 months and i tell you, theres others waiting.
they either have to approve you or deny you.

Just tell the rep you want to be transferred to a level 2 immigration officer

If they ask why just say you have some questions about background check or something of that nature.

OK that is so odd, and butterfly I called yesterday. I was calling and was able to get through to the second level rep because I was wondering why on 7th of January it updated saying they changed my address. The second level rep checked "said" after checking both that they were both looked at and in 10 days call if there is no action. Now I think they are just messing with us.
