You need certified letter from the doctor that your father is visiting. Make sure he specify evetything .
You also need your birth certificate ( to proof the relationship) make sure it has the apostille sealed. You send the copies they dont need the originals.
You need copies of your daca letter showing you were approved.
Copy of your driver license, social security, and work permit.

Make sure to translate everything that is not in english. And make copy of everything. I would recomend a front letter explaining why you want to travel or explain something you can explain in the application form.
Great thanks for your answer. I do have daca. Do you know what the letter from the doctor needs to say?

I have a question, hopefully someone could help me. I'm just waiting for a letter from Mexico from my ill grandmother so I can apply for AP. Upon my return I hope to be able to clear my EWI and be able to adjust my status via marriage (been married to USC for 2 years) question is by the time I get AP approved and I travel will be around the same time I have to apply to renew DACA (Expires April 30, 2015) so I have to renew around December. Should I wait to start the process of AOS until I renew and get approved with DACA? I'm afraid of submitting AOS and then DACA, might make a confusion? Any thoughts?

Before you have to leave, filed for renewal within the time we are suppose to, which is 150 and no pass 120 but I think

But the feeling of knowing that you or your spouse can finally live without fear of being deported, or that you can finally go back home and return without hassle, that feeling is priceless.

Thanks for your input! I am in the process of applying for DACA as we speak. After reading so many successful stories of getting AOS via AP I'm hopeful that once approved I'll be able to get my status sorted out so I can feel like a real person. My grandmother is 93 and blind and almost completely deaf. My father who also lives in S.K. along with my mother keeps saying that she asks about me and hopes to see me soon. If all goes well I'll be able to see my parents who I haven't seen since they moved back to S.K. 3 years ago and my grandmother who I haven't seen in about 18 years. I'll probably be flying in and out of SFO... Any known troubles at that airport?

We just got back from mexico yesterday using advance parole for humanitarian reason. We highly recommend it, we had no issues.

First of all my husband is DACA (just recently renewed it)and he applied march 27 and USCIS received application on march 31, it took 5 months to get approved even with attempting to expedite. My husband was approved on august 25, received ap document in exactly a week, and document said we had to beback in US by sept 14, 2014 so we only had couple weeks!

We flew out of LAX airport international Friday morning at 9:50am, however we got there at 6 am just in case we needed to be there extra early... It was def not necessary it only took about 40 min to check in and go through customs. No one asked to see his documents other then his Mexican passport and boarding pass. He was nervous it was first time on a plane. We stayed in Loreto Baja mexico for 5 days.

We drove back to US with my parents (they live in Loreto mexico) it was a 18 hour drive back so we split it in 2 days so my husband could view mexico. When we got to the Tijuana san ysidro border we didn't know if it would be better to walk through the border so my parents car wouldn't have to go to 2nd inspection or to just drive through. Well we decided to drive through and I highly recommend it. We got to border agent and he was really nice... We handed him all 3 of our US passports and my husbands Mexican passport with the AP document in it. He read it then filled out an orange paper and told us to go to 2nd inspection which we were expecting. Once in 2nd inspection another agent came to our car, read the orange paper and asked me & my husband to follow him inside, he was nice making conversation. Once inside there was only 1 other person sitting there. We sat and waited for about 30 min... The officers were laughing and chatting loud where we can all see/hear them. It was a relief hearing them all laugh in good moods. They called my husbands name and took but both hands fingerprints & his picture. They stamped his ap documents And kept one and handed one back. Attached to the ap document was the filled out i-94 with a stamp that said patrolled until sept 2015. And we were good to go, no questions asked, no proof needed of where we went, nothing! My husband was so happy haha. We went back to the car, had to wait for an officer to clear our vehicle and we left. If we walked across I'm sure there would of been more people waiting so the process would of been longer. There are 2 2nd inspections.. One for drivers and one for walkers. We now have everything to adjust status

I have a question for you I am filling out the application myself for advance parole but when it asks what dates you would be out I dont know what to put because what if the date I put is next month and the permit gets approved in 5 months ??? Or do you just put the amount of days you need and they give you the dates please explain .... Also on the advance parole do you get a departure date or just a return date ? Thanks in advance
