Thanks for sharing the BIG PICTURE. Any updates?

Here's my very long timeline.

02/04/2016 Package sent to TX Lockbox
02/09/2016 NOA received for both I-821D and I-765 dated 02/08/2016. Case routed to CA center.
02/09/2016 Online acct. created on USCIS. Only I-821D was searchable. I-765 was unable to be found. Kept telling to contact 1-800 number.
03/10/2016 Called 1-800, told me to wait for 45 days since receiving NOA
03/27/2016 Called again. Transfered me to 2nd tier. Told me biometrics letter can take up to 60-90days.
03/31/2016 Put in 1st E-request
04/15/2016 Response to 1st E-request: taking longer than usual.
04/16/2016 Called, they could not find my case online but ensured that my case is in process. (?) And put Service Request.
04/18/2016 2nd E-request (wasn't sure if the agent really put in SR, so I did it myself again)
05/25/2016 Response to SR agent put in, to make an Infopass appt.
05/25/2016 Made an Infopass appt. for 06/06/2016
05/31/2016 Response to 2nd E-request, that my letter will be sent when it's scheduled (no specific date or time).
06/03/2016 Called, same answer but could not put in SR due to time limit (my response was made w/i 30 days, they could not put another one in w/i that time period. Needed to wait more.)
06/06/2016 Infopass. Lady was not helpful at all. (Find my Infopass experience in this post).
06/09/2016 Called, cannot put in SR. My case is on time.
06/14/2016 Sent an e-mail to Congressman and filed form DHS-7001 online for Ombudsman case assistance.
06/15/2016 Checked my case status on USCIS website, still no update on I-765.
06/21/2016 Checked my case status and there it is!!! UPDATE of my status saying my appt. was scheduled and the letter will be in mail.

I've called them about 5 times, went to Infopass. But nothing helped really.
Idk if sending an e-mail to Congressman or file DHS-7001 was getting the appt. faster?

But if you still haven't received you letter more than 60 days, I definitely recommend you to do so.
It doesn't hurt to try every possible ways...

Hope to hear good news from y'all also.

I did my biometrics on 07/05/2016.
And no updates, yet. It's been little over a month, so I'm just trying to wait patiently...

Hi guys, I'm also having a hard time with my Daca Renewal. I sent my applications on June 3, and received the receipts on June 13. I still haven't gotten my biometrics appointment. I called customer service and filed a service request, she told me I should be getting a letter from them within 30 days, and if not, to call back and gave me a confirmation number. That was on August 8, I still haven't gotten anything, I sent an e-request 2 days ago. I am so worried, my daca expires on Sep. 25 ...I read some of you showed up earlier to your biometrics appointment. Whenever I get the appointment I was thinking of doing the same thing, but I remeber the last two times I did my biometrics I had to show them the letter. Did you do that? They can say it's too early. Also I can't remeber if I had to show them my work permit or driver's license...I can't wait to get my appointment... or that letter some of you received to create an account... is so nerve wracking... :'(

Welcome to the club. Yes, you are not the only one. In fact, we have an almost identical timeline. I sent it a few days before and mine expires on Sept 28th. There other two people who sent their applications around the same June 1st date who are still waiting. Some people have been waiting more than 150 days just for biometrics.

It's crazy, it was pretty easy the other two times I did it, it took less than 2 and a half months to get the work permit. They are being really slow and I'm freaking out about working with my permit expired, I can't even renew my driver's license. That means driving nervously from the day it expires, not being able to take a plane, you know, and you use your license for many things, it sucks. It's not like I sent it a month before it expires, it was almost 4 months before that. If Hillary becomes president and she is not able to do anything to help us and I have to renew this thing again, I'm definitely sending it 5 months before the expiration date... I have even cried over this... :'( .

I know, I my self have had horrible days. I have the job people would dream of. Very difficult to get in. I have been here only a few months. Only to loose it for something it is not even my fault. I will loose my job and getting another one will be hard. People will ask me, why the fuck did you only last 5 months

I received a letter yesterday saying basically that the processing of my I-821D is within their current processing time and that I should receive a notice to appear for fingerprints shortly. I mean it's been 2 and a half months, is that normal? I don't think so... I hope to get more news soon, I sent an e-request like 3 days ago and put the receipt number of I-765... have you received this letter too?

Have they asked you for the renewal of the work permit?
